Unexpectedly fast, the latest issue of Uppercase Magazine with the surface pattern design guide, arrived on my doorstep! I assumed it would take another week or so. So I actually wanted to write this message later, but now I really want to share the information.

Uppercase magazine is a Canadian magazine about art, artists, craft, lettering, (graphic) design, surface pattern design etc. and it is one of the most beautiful and magical magazines I know. It is made by designer Janine Vangool and is one of the last self-published magazines, I think. Every issue is very inspiring.

Every few years the magazine publishes a surface pattern design guide. I believe there were more than 600 applications but there is only room for 100 designers. So you can understand that I am very happy and proud that I am in it with my papercut designs.
